Rolling hitch

Use the pause button and play button to display intermediate steps.

Place rope over spar.
Bring rope around and cross over.
Bring around and cross over again.
Bring to other side.
Tuck under one turn only.
Pull ends to tighten.
To use: pull against the two turns.

For use on a spar or thick rope where it is likely to be pulled at an angle along the spar and/or rope.
