Use two ropes.
Make loop in one of the ropes.
Bring other rope up.
Bring it around the loop.
Then tuck under.
Pull ends to tighten.

The sheet bend is used for tying two ropes of the same thickness together. Like the reef knot
except it is a stronger knot.
